The Publication
Behind the Journal.
Arekon Press is an independent editorial publication based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It observes everyday supplementation habits, nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle choices for men — approaching the subject as an editorial matter rather than a commercial one.
Origin
Where the Record Began.
Arekon Press began as a documentation project in early 2025 — an attempt to record the supplement stacking patterns of active men in Jakarta's wellness communities and place those patterns in the context of published nutritional research. The city presented a distinctive observational environment: a dense urban population with a growing engagement with gym-based fitness routines, an expanding awareness of nutritional supplementation, and a relative lack of editorial material approaching the subject with the rigour it warranted.
The editorial team observed that most content in the supplement space was either promotional — produced by brands with commercial interests in specific products — or was written in the register of popular fitness media, with a tone of instruction and optimism that often overstated what the published nutritional record actually supported. There was a gap for an independent voice.
Arekon Press fills that gap through reporting in the journalistic sense: observing patterns, consulting published research, and presenting findings in plain editorial prose without commercial framing.

Editorial Scope
Daily Supplement Habits
The most commonly observed supplement stacking patterns for active men, examined against the published nutritional record. Vitamin D, omega-3, creatine, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, protein, and iron — the foundation of the men's daily stack.
Nutritional Awareness
The broader nutritional context in which supplementation sits — macronutrient balance, dietary variety, nutrient density, and the principle of whole food first. Supplements are additions to dietary foundations, not replacements for them.
Active Lifestyle Observations
The relationship between physical activity patterns and nutritional requirements. Gym routines, resistance training habits, recovery nutrition, endurance considerations — the active context in which supplement decisions are made.

Every article is reviewed by a second editor before publication. The review checks factual accuracy, vocabulary compliance, and editorial consistency.
Public Corrections
Corrections are noted publicly and dated within the article body. Arekon Press maintains a record of all post-publication corrections.
Commercial Disclosure
Writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence subject selection. The editorial team does not accept sponsored topic briefs.
